ILNP - Mona Lisa

Anoter ILNP Fall 2015 Ultra Holo for today, because I just can't get enough of them. I'm even surpised at myself, how much I like this brown nail polish called Mona Lisa. But how not to like it, when it's so sparkly and holo and gorgeous?

The formula is okey, not the best, but quite alright. Also two thicker coats might be needed for full coverage, even though it's a dark color. But it dries super quickly without quick dry top coat.

ILNP - Pretty Little Liar

Apparently in every ILNP collection there must be a deep purple color. In this latest Fall 2015 collection it's Pretty Little Liar.

PLL is a deep rich plum ultra holo, which has jelly base. This means the pigmentation isn't too good, but still buildable. I applied trhee coats for full coverage. Two coats might be also good, but the third coat gives much richer look for this deep color and the ultra holo effect is way better.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of jelly polishes, mostly because they need to be built to look good. Also they aren't the best ones to use in nail arts. But who can resist for a beautiful color like Pretty Little Liar has? :)

piCture pOlish - Bordeaux

When I saw the first swatches about the new piCture pOlishes, I wasn't completely blown away from Bordeaux. So I made my order excluding it. And then next day I innocently walked into Cesar's Shop and bomm. It turned out to be the most beautiful of all the new ones. No questions left, I took home one.

As its name says, Bordeaux is a bordeaux nail polish with jelly base and scatter holo effect. Because of the jelly base, it requires three coats for complete coverage. But I don't mind, because this is what makes this polish so beautifully deep dark bloodred. I don't even have to mention the PP quality, right? :P

Now I don't understand how I could not love Bordeaux at firsht sight. I guess sometimes you really need to see the product in real life to realize its real beauty.
Did you get any of the new piCture pOlishes?

ILNP - Dream Girl

Surprise, surprise, I had to grab a few of the newest ILNP fall collection polishes. But I can't help it, they are so beautiful.

Dream Girl is a light pink Ultra Holo. That means holo flakies and rainbows and shimmers and pink everywhere. Such a bling-bling. :) I was a little scared during the application of the first coat, it looked terribly sheer. I needed three thinner coats for full coverage. The application was much easier, than the summer Ultra Holos, and the polish wasn't as thick. I hope it'll be true for the others, too.

Dream Girl is the correct name for this polish. It really made me feel so girlie. And dreamy... haha. How do you like the new ILNP collection?

Color Club - Sidewalk Psychic

New Halo Hues polishes? The best idea Color Club could come up with! I love the older ones, so obsessedly waited to get the new ones. Let's start with Sidewalk Psychic.

Honestly, this one is my least favorite for first shight, simply just because it's not exactly my kind of shade. Rusty brownish copper color, so it doesn't look that good on me. However, it's very well pigmented, one coat gives already a very good coverage. Though, a second coat is definietly needed. The formula was great and very easy to work with.

I think I'm not gonna wear Sidewalk Psychic on its own, but it'll be great for stamping for example (or dry marble, which I want to definietly try soon...)!

NCLA - Out Of This World

NCLA nail polishes have been on my wishlish since a long time. Especially this specific one called Out Of This World. When Color4Nails webshop started selling it a couple of weeks ago, I just had to get it. So let's take a little closer look at it.

OOTW is a holo loaded dark purple shade. The formula is thick (which means it might be great for stamping), but very easy to apply. I needed two coats to make it opaque. The holo effect isn't as strong as it is in the bottle, but as you can see on the pictures, it's still capturable very well. One negative thing to mention, that for me the lid was a little too light to hold. And because it's square shaped, it was a little uncomfortable. But nothing I couldn't survive. :)

Overall I'm glad I have OOTW in my stash, it was really worth to wait.

Il Était Un Vernis - Crush On Blue

Long time no post. But no worriez, I'm here today with a lovely Il Était Un Vernis polish called Crush On Blue.

Crush On Blue was the very first polish I've ever had from this french indie brand. And honestly, I was a little scared when I started to apply the first coat on my nails, that I made a mistake buying it. It was so sheer and hard to apply. Then the second coat made it look much better, so I calmed down. The application was still a little tricky, but not impossible to do it right. Still a third coat was definietly needed, but it after that it looked so beautiful on my nails, that I fell in love. Gorgeous rich blue nail polish with scatter holo effect. It reminds me of Picure Polish for some reason...

So everything worked out well with Crush On Blue, and now I'm a huge fan of Il Était Un Vernis. :)

Cirque Colors - We Trippy

I've been craving for a holographic top coat lately, so I decided to suprise myself with it for my birthday. Instagram is all over Cirque Colors' Vice collection, so I picked We Trippy. The neon colors are beautiful too, but I didn't want to spend that much money on neons... I wish, I could, though. We Trippy arrived just in time from Pretty Polish, so today I can already enjoy it! :)

Since it's finally summer, I wanted to try it over a neon polish. I applied one thin coat of We Trippy over Maybelline's Coral Heat from the Bleached neons collection. Ahhh, it's just stunning. The holo effect makes Coral Heat look like jewelry in the sunshine.

I'm rally glad I have this holo top coat. Now I feel like I want to paint everything with it. I mean, not just my nails, literally everything. Damn, I know how to suprice myself. Now I'm off to eat my birthday cake. :D

Color Club - Eternal Beauty

In my previous post you could have already seen Eternal Beauty with some stamping. Now let's take a little closer look at it.

I might have already said that Color Club's Halo Hues are one of my all time favorite holos. Especially this lovely purple Eternal Beauty. It's pigmented very well, opaque in two coats. And that holo effect... it's noticeable literally everywhere!

Halo Hues are one of the strongest holo polishes that I konw, for a really good price. I'd recommend it to everyone, who's even just a little addicted to holo. And who's not addicted to holo... :P

Born Pretty Store - BP-65 Stamping Plate

I'm so obsessed with Born Pretty Store stamping plates lately, that evey time I decide to stamp on my nails, I pick one of them. They really work fawlessly. Today I have some cute flower images from BP-65 plate.

Let's start with my least favorite. This is Essence Dare It Nude and Essie Nothing Else Metals. It didn't turn out as pretty as in my head, I should have used a darker base. But the stamping was easy anyway.

And then Color Club Eternal Beauty and Essence black stamping polish. I definietly wanted a holo under this pattern. It looks awesome.

Up next is Rimmel Temprtess with elegant tiny roses using Essence black stamping polish. It looks so sophisticated, I love it. I think this one's my favorite.

And last my second favorite, Rimmel Sweet Retreat and Essence stamping polish again. (Apparatnely I wasn't really creative choosing stamping polish... :D) This one is really cute, I can't wait to have some time to play with these flowers and create some reverse stamping art... But I like it this simple, too.

Which image do you like most?

F.U.N Lacquer - Blue Tears

I was very excited about F.U.N Lacquer's Summer 2015 collection. They're much more my style, than the LE polishes were a couple of weeks ago. Two polishes caught my attention immediately, and I knew without thinking, I gotta have them. One of them was Seductive Marmalade and the other, this post's subject: Blue Tears.

Blue Tears, eventhough it's not specifically a summer shade for me, is gorgeous deep blue polish with sparkling gold and holographic glitters. The formula is great, applies easily and covers in two coats. The removal was a little harder, than I expected, so I recommend to use peel-off basecoat.

Did you get anything from the Summer 2015 collection?

Models Own - Flip Flop

To be honest I don't wear neon too often, even during summers. Two years ago I was literally disgusted from neon polishes. Then last summer I got a neon pink Moyra polish, and I kinda liked it. And of course I saw Models Own Polish For Tans collection, but I said I could never wear them. Especially that ugly green one. Aaand for today I brought that ugly green Flip Flop for you. Don't ask me, I really don't know what changed my mind... I guess people just change.

So Flip Flop is that kind of ugly green, that just pops into your face. Literally eveyone takes notice of it within seconds.  I haven't seen so much neon green polishes in my life, but this one's the most neon of them. Like every neon polishes, it's recommended to apply over white base. For me it took 2 thicker coats. It dried a little slow, even after using Seche Vite, so that's not that great, but life can't be always easy. :D

I have to say I'm quite suprised, that I like it, or even use it. Though, it's still weird sometimes to see my nails being so bright and neon and green at the same time.
Do you use neon polishes? What are your favs? Feel free to recommend me more neons! :P

ILNP - Paige

Few months ago I realized, that however I own lots of pink holo polishes, for some reason they all are so light shades. So I really wanted to have something darker. Lucky me, ILNP solved this problem with Paige from the Ultra Holo collection.

As ILNP describes, it's berry pink, in my opinion it's not deep enought to be berry, let's say it's fuchsia. But we can call it whatever we like, it's just simply gorgeous. I needed three thinner coats for full coverage, but if you are tricky, it might take only two coats.

These Ultra Holos are so incredibly beautiful, I can't get enough of them. :)

F.U.N Lacquer - Galaxy

You might have already seen/read on Instagram, that I'm so excited about the new collection of F.U.N Lacquers and I'm literally going crazy wating for them to arrive. I needed something gorgeous from the brand to calm me down. :) So I picked Galaxy from my stash.

I've already read on different blogs that it doesn't cover perfectly even in three coats, and there's no way, that I apply four. What a waste would that be? So I applied OPI's Do You Have This Color In Stock-holm? from 2014 Nordic collection. It covers in two coats and is a really nice color, but it smells so weird. Not that strong cheap polish smell (u know what I mean), but something different and... well just weird. :D
But back to Galaxy. Purple and holographic glitters in sheer purple base. On my pics you can see its coverage in two coats. Since I had a base color under it, why not to add some gradient. I sticked two chevron nail vinyls on my ring finger, painted over the mid part with two coats of Galaxy and tadaaa! Easy peasy.

How do you like Galaxy? Did you pick anything from the new Summer 2015 collection?

China Glaze - Point Me To The Party

Let's get out of the magical world of indie polishes for a minute and take a look around at the salon brands too. Electric Nights is this year's neon collection from China Glaze. The neon polishes didn't impress me, there are much better ones in my opinion. Three glitter toppers belong to this collection, and Point Me To The Party looked so fun and unique, I thought it might be worth a try...

Point Me To The Party is a multicolor neon glitter in clear base. Sounds like fun? Well, sorry, but no. My first attempt turned out terribly. The base was so thick I couldn't apply one single wipe on my nails normally. But when I picked up more polish with the brush, it was impossible to handle the glitters. And then it became so thick, there were millions of tiny bubbles on my nails. I seriously felt like I forgot how to paint nails. So I get pissed off and removed it.
Then a few days later I gave it another try, but first I used a few drops of Seche Restore thinner. It became easier to work with, but there are still some bubbles left, you can see them in the pictures. The larger glitters were really hard to work with, so I just picked them up from the neck of the bottle and placed them onto my nails. Ant this is exactly what I hate to do with glitter polishes. I mean, if I want to play with glitters one by one, I'd buy glitter drops instead.

So I am quite dissapointed in this one, though the idea is good.  My camera didn't like the neon orange and pink glitters, but on my istagram you can see a pic I took with my phone. The glitters look better, but not the quality. :P
