Colour Alike - Spring'n'Summer 2015 575

Finally the new Colour Alike Spring'n'Summer 2015 collection arrived to Finland. I loved the swatches about the holographic part of this collection, so I was waiting for it like crazy.

First let's see nr. 575, which is a nude scatter holographic polish. First it reminded me to Cherish from piCture pOlish, but if you look at it just a little more specificly, you'll see CA is much more scatter than bijou holo and also one shade darker. So they're entirely different. Need them both! :) It requires two coats to make it opaque, the application is very smooth. The holo effect is not too strong at this one eighter, but I'm fine with it.

I've been looking for a nude polish like this since a long time, so I'm very glad to find it. Thanks CA! :)

A England - Captive Goddess

Here's my second pick from A England Rossetti's Goddess collection, Captive Goddess. For me this was the most interesting from this collection.

Captive Goddes has bluish grey base, that shimmers in purple from different agles. The holo effect makes this grey color much softer and lighter and very special. It's opaque in two coats, which is okay. My olny problem with this polish, that it's way too thick. I needed to add a few drops of nail polish thinner after I started to apply the second coat, because I didn't like to work with it. But now problem solved, so eveyone's happy.:)

Colour Alike - 512

For today I brought the next Colour Alike Pastel Holo in line, 512. How fascinating... Come on, we need names for these beauties, right?

Number 512 is blue pastel with elegant holographic effect. I like this bright, yet pastel color, it makes me somehow happy. :) Just like its buddy it covers in two coats.

Colors By Llarowe - Little Red Corvette

It's not a secret, when it comes to red holographic nail polishes Colors By Llarowe is my number one choice. That's why I don't understand how could I wait for so long to get this beautiful Little Red Corvette.

But all well that ends well, here I have it. Sparkling red holo with a strong magenta undertone. And it's so so stunning I love it! It applies in two coats and the formula is excellent CBL quality.  Huge plus, that it doesn't color the nail red after removal!

I addition I'd only like to say: more red (all all kind of) CBL holos for me please! :)

Emily De Molly - Third Edition

Somehow we are not best friends with Emily De Molly. Everytime I check the swatches in webshops, I get excited, then I got my polishes and they just look totally different, than the ones in the pictures. But I keep hoping and buying them, I guess I'm just that sick. :)

So here we have Third Edition for today. I can tell you there is a lot going on in this polish. It has silver base, that is packed with bigger and smaller silver glitters, gold flakies and multichrome little thingies (flakies?). I really don't know how to call them, I'm not even sure sometimes, if they're there. It covers in two coats and dries with a little texture, if it bothers you, I'll recommend to use not just one, but two coats of topcoat, and it'll smoothen out completely. 

I left Third Edition on my nails for almost 3 days, to figure out if I like it or not, but I still couldn't decide. Overall there's nothing wrong with this polish it's just... like I said at the beginning, we're not best friends.

Colour Alike - 511

Like I said in my latest post, it is time to wear now some spring colors. And spring colors for me mean pastel. Colour Alike launched early this spring a four-piece pastel collection. Now I'll show you nr. 511.

511 is a very nice pastel lilac color with scatter holo effect. This holo effect isn't strong at all, only noticable in direct light. But this is exactly, that makes this polish so sophisticated. The formula is fine and easy to apply, I wear two coats on my nails.

A England - Proserpine

From the new A England collection Rossetti's Goddess, out of four polishes two wowed me this time. Captive Goddess and today's protagonist, Proserpine.

Proserpine is a deep teal color with scattered holo effect. A very thick one, which I don't like that much, but I'm already used to it from A England. On the other hand, Proserpine covers perfectly in only one coat!

Proserpine is a beautiful color with great quality, but I feel I really want to wear more summery shades on my nails from now on! :)

F.U.N Lacquer - Edgy (H)

Yesterday arrived my picks from F.U.N Lacquer's Birthday 2015 collection. And of course I had to try them immediately. The collection has 3 multichrome glitter polishes and all has holographic version, too. First comes Edgy (H).

In Edgy (H) the main colors are green and pink, in different angles also some purple and blue is seeable. And all this spiced up with holo sparkling. Gorgerous! I applied it in one coat over black, but as I see in about 3 coats it'll cover the whole nail very well. Gotta try it next time!

In "everything is better with holo" theory I only bought the 3 H versons of this collection. So far... :) Style (H) and Precious (H) is coming soon,  too. 

Color Club - Miss Bliss

Another holographic nail polish is up for today. This one is Miss Bliss from Color Club's Halo Hues collection.

Like all the other polishes from this collection Miss Bliss has a very strong linear holo effect, too. Cute pink shade that shines beautifully in sunlight. Two thin coats cover the nails perfectly.

Most of the time Color Club nail polishes don't particularly impress me, mostly because here in Finland their price is ridiculously high (~12€). But Halo Hues collection is a must-have, if you like holographic effect and want good quality, affordable ones. I got mine form Ebay (~4,50€ plus shipping).
